18th century lappets - Brussels with brides

each 20" x 3.5" (top) - 3" (bottom)
Occasional small rust spot. Slight folding top left corner of 2nd lappet. Two repairs to a motif join at the bottom of 1st lappet. Almost looks like the motif was repositioned. This might have been a showstopper if it weren't for the rarity and fineness of this set. Engrelure sewon on top of both - unsure if cut.

Picot edge added later. Investigate removing this, but it is very fine. ~1715. Partridge eye fillings, fine work. Picoted brides.
